Maximillian I of Mexico
Maximilian I\xa0(Ferdinand Maximilian Joseph Maria,\xa0Spanish:\xa0Fernando Maximiliano Jos\xe9 Mar\xeda de Habsburgo-Lorena; 6 July 1832 \u2013 19 June 1867) was an\xa0Austrian\xa0archduke\xa0who reigned as the only\xa0Emperor\xa0of the\xa0Second Mexican Empire\xa0from 10 April 1864 until his execution on 19 June 1867. A younger brother of Emperor\xa0Franz Joseph I of Austria, Maximilian had a distinguished career as commander-in-chief of the\xa0Imperial Austrian Navy.
