Animal Sexual Behavior
Animal sexual behaviour\xa0takes many different forms, including within the same\xa0species. Common\xa0mating\xa0or\xa0reproductively\xa0motivated systems include\xa0monogamy,\xa0polygyny,\xa0polyandry,\xa0polygamy\xa0and\xa0promiscuity. Other sexual behaviour may be reproductively motivated (e.g.\xa0sex apparently due to duress or coercion\xa0and\xa0situational sexual behaviour) or\xa0non-reproductively motivated\xa0(e.g.\xa0interspecific sexuality, sexual arousal from objects or places,\xa0sex with dead animals,\xa0homosexual sexual behaviour, and\xa0bisexual\xa0sexual behaviour).
