This is another episode of the Self Development With Tactics / SDWT podcast featuring the allencheng.com website and it's "Principles" by Ray Dalio Summary. This time we are first of all talking about how to get past disagreements which acts and an extension to the whole believability weighting process including, why you shouldn't care too much about little things, not leaving conflicts unresolved and not letting people destroy your system or THE system. The next one is another few points on how to manage people, where he points out that you shouldn't hire people without values and abilities, that you should always try to see the truth through good metrics and monitoring, that you should instill giving good feedback into them like it was being kind. The last point is about "keeping meaningful relationships (which are like he says built on common values and interest, similar approaches, being reasonable and considerate with each other and holding each other to high standards". The basic thing that I want to point out here is being kind and praising others. At my point of view it is just super important. Still, he is also pointing out other valuabel things like a warning and why you should pay for food and drink at hosted dinners.
