#278 The PROS And CONS Of Being TRANSPARENT
This is another episode of the Self Development With Tactics / SDWT podcast featuring the allencheng.com website and a summary of "Principles" form Ray Dalio. Today we are talking about transparency first of all the pros and second of all the cons of being transparent in a company. I guess you can also translate it into your personal life. Ray used to record all the meetings for example which reduced bad behaviour but was also used to see who said what to not "punish" somebody who didn't do anything wrong. Just to name some of them, there are other benefits of being transparent as well! After the benefits he talks about the disadvantages which include some obvious things but still some value. After that we are heading to believability and weighted decision making which basically is a concept on how you can or should deal with opinion of other people. You should weight them by their believability which comes from the success (in the question) the person had and how well the person can explain his/her idea.
