b"With Deadpool 2 hitting theaters this weekend we've finally recorded our Character Corner episode on Nathaniel Christopher Charles Summers, aka, Cable. Now first off, we've touched on a lot of the early years with Nathan/Cable already in some previous Character Corners. We cover Nathan's birth and being sent to the future in the Cyclops & Alex episode as well as him being genetically created specifically to be a weapon against Apocalypse in our Apocalypse & Mister Sinister episode. And if you want more on Deadpool and Cable's relationship, we covered that all the way back in our Deadpool Character Corner.\\n\\nNow Cable wasn't originally created to be the grown up, future Nathan Summers. Originally Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld created him to just be a military leader who was the complete opposite of Professor X and would lead the young New Mutants. Things changed rather quickly as the character became more popular and soon it was revealed he was not only Nathan Summers but his clone was Stryfe who founded the Mutant Liberation Front. It only gets stranger and weirder from here and we cover it all. From his half sister from an alternate timeline (Rachel Summers/Grey) to Cable going becoming the protector and father of Hope Summers. There's a lot going on, it can be convoluted but it's all connected. We try to make sense of it all.\\n\\nhttp://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/6608270\\n\\nIssues:\\n\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #201 - First appearance of Nathan Summers\\n \\tX-Factor #68 - Infected with the Techno-Organic virus and sent to the future\\n \\tNew Mutants #86 - First Appearance of Stryfe\\n \\tNew Mutants #87 - First Appearance of Cable\\xa0\\n \\tX-Force #1\\n \\tCable Volume 1 (1993)\\n\\n \\tIssue #6 he's confirmed to be Nathan Summers\\n\\n\\n \\tThe Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix - Scott & Jean get pulled into the future by Rachel Summers to raise the young Nathan\\n \\tX-Cutioner's Song\\n\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #294\\n \\tX-Factor #84\\n \\tX-Men #14\\n \\tX-Force #16\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #295\\n \\tX-Factor #85\\n \\tX-Men #15\\n \\tX-Force #17\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #296\\n \\tX-Factor #86\\n \\tX-Men #16\\n \\tX-Force #18\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #297\\n\\n\\n \\tSoldier X\\n \\tCable & Deadpool (2004)\\n \\tMessiah Complex Saga\\n\\n \\tMessiah Complex\\n \\tCable Vol 2 (2009)\\n \\tMessiah War\\n\\n \\tX-Force/Cable Messiah War #1\\n \\tCable vol 2 #13\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #14\\n \\tCable Vol 2 #14\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #15\\n \\tCable Vol 2 #15\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #16\\n\\n\\n \\tX-Men Second Coming\\n\\n \\tX-Men Second Coming #1\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #523\\n \\tNew Mutants Vol 3 #12\\n \\tX-Men Legacy #235\\n \\tX-Factor #204\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #26\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #524\\n \\tX-Men Hellbound #1\\n \\tNew Mutants Vol 3 #13\\n \\tX-Men Blind Science #1\\n \\tX-Men Legacy #236\\n \\tX-Factor #205\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #27\\n \\tUncanny X-Men #525\\n \\tX-Men Hellbound #2\\n \\tNew Mutants Vol 3 #14\\n \\tX-Men Legacy #237\\n \\tX-Factor #206\\n \\tX-Force Vol 3 #28\\n \\tX-Men Hellbound #3\\n \\tX-Men Second Coming #2\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n \\tAvengers X-Sanction\\n \\tAvengers vs X-Men\\n \\tCable and X-Force\\n \\tX-Force Volume 4\\n \\tCable Volume 3\\n\\nPlease take our Audience survey.
