Virtually ignored - The province's nurse practitioners want to know why the government is paying millions to a foreign-based company for work they can do right here

The provincial government has entered into a contract with Teladoc Health to provide virtual health care in Newfoundland and Labrador. The contract is for two years, at 11 million dollars a year. That's got nurse practitioners in the province wondering why government is hiring a U.S.-based company to do work they can do right here.
