Today was scheduled to be another busy day of curling at the Bruce II Sports Centre in Port aux Basques.\tThe provincial Mixed Doubles championships are underway. But one team has already experienced what is likely to be the highlight of the event for them. David Thomas and his daughter, Sarah Thomas had the chance on Wednesday to play against Brad Gushue and his daughter, Marissa.\nDavid Thomas is also president of the Gateway Curling Club and president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association.
