The need for federal/provincial funding for capital works, and a need for provincial help with housing... Those were two of the broader issues referenced in the municipal budget in Corner Brook this week.\tThe City delivered a budget of more than 39 million dollars, that included new spending and, yet, an effort to minimize the impact on taxpayers.\tThere is also a 50-dollar increase in the city's water levy. Jim Parsons is mayor of Corner Brook.
