The tech industry has been getting a lot of attention in NL, especially after tech giant NASDAQ bought St. John's-based online security and anti-fraud company Verafin for 3.6 billion dollars (Cdn.). Brendan Brothers of Verafin says there's a lot of room for the tech industry to grow in the province. We asked the two candidates in the district of Corner Brook - PC Tom Stewart and Liberal incumbent Gerry Byrne - how other regions in the province can tap into this growing field.
