The song Bookin\u2019 Up or Booking Up Baby is a song by a group called the Topics. Mercury Records released the Topics \u201cBooking Up Baby in 1973, and it is said that it did nothing. Wow! It sounds like a great song to me. There are a lot of great songs out there that didn\u2019t make it, and you just don\u2019t hear them on the radio.

The group the Topics are remembered by East Coast fans for \u201cAll Good Things Must End\u201d. It is a ballad recorded on Heavy Duty Records in 1972 that became huge in the New York/Jersey area.

What do you think the song Bookin\u2019 up means? I think it\u2019s about a guy that\u2019s with a girl and booked up to meet other girls. A guy that\u2019s going to move on and get away from the girl that he\u2019s with.

I just don\u2019t see why the song bookin\u2019 up baby didn\u2019t make it. Girls & guys are always breaking up. I think it should have been a hit. But that\u2019s just my opinion. Maybe the song didn\u2019t get enough plays in those days. Maybe it\u2019s getting some plays today.
