Mocha is an LA-based DJ and a Producer who comes of Peruvian and French descent. His South American roots are a huge part of his music taste and have a prominent influence on his productions. His love for electronic and hip-hop music started at a young age from attending music events almost every weekend while growing up in Utah. When he turned 18 he made his way out west to Santa Barbara, California where he found his passion for house and techno music, and by the age of 20, he was DJ’ing regularly at local venues. A few years down the road he started producing and really finding his sound of melodic techno and started playing some larger events such as Lucidity Festival and Genius Loci Festival where he found a home of like-minded individuals. He is always developing his sound but gets his influences from his travels and experiences that music has taken him on.
