Candace is a former standout swimmer from The University of North Carolina and is now the Assistant for Blue Devil Premium Services at Duke University.
Candace reveals her journey from leaving the sport of swimming, trying out life in a "typical 9-5", returning to swimming, before finding her feet in the world of event management. We also discuss her role as an African-American in the sport of swimming, where she found her passion to compete, and gain insight into the traits she uses to be successful today
