This week on the show I welcome in a veteran of the game of Soccer here in the United States, Jonny Bornstein who was a member of the generational US National Team that attended the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Over his 15 year professional career, Jonny has represented his country 37 times, played in both in Major League Soccer and the Mexican Primera League throughout his career, and is currently a member of the Chicago Fire for this upcoming MLS Season.

Some of the major talking points of the episode include how Jonny remained patient throughout his career, waiting for opportunities but taking full advantage of them when they came. In addition, he provides a fantastic perspective on the power of taking care of the person you are in order to optimize the competitor and career person you are.

Our show is all about optimizing the competitor within you, but the clarity Jonny provides through his candid and vulnerable insight allow us to clearly appreciate that there is an almost therapeutic process to building the person required to take on a career to the highest of levels!
