He\\u2019s the editor-in-chief of National Affairs, a quarterly journal of essays about domestic policy, political economy, and political thought. He\\u2019s also authored numerous books. \\u201cThe Fractured Republic\\u201d is especially relevant to today\\u2019s conversation.\\n\\nYuval served as a member of the White House domestic policy staff under President George W.
