b'This is part one of a three part set. It\'s an epic six hours in total! It was recorded live on Pressure Radio on 28th June from 9pm to 3am Sydney time.
It also features a special guest that I\'ve been trying to get on the show since he moved to Sydney three years. I am talking about Brum\'s finest Gary Ward. Those of you that party in the Midlands may remember "Days Like This", "\\xdcber Nights" and more recently "Body People". All names synonymous with Gary.
This was the first time we had played together and I was curious to see how our styles would work together. As you will see the answer is very nicely indeed thank you. The people in the chatroom kept commenting on how well we played together which was great to hear.
I kicked the show off playing for the first 30 minutes and started with new tracks purchased that day. That said the opener is a HUGE classic that I only got my hands on that day!! Gary took over at the half hour mark and upped the tempo a little but the vibe was still flowing through. We swapped back again just past halfway through this pt1 mix where I played a more uptempo set to continue the energy Gary had created. The last half an hour Gary changes direction and we here a nice disco infused vibe.
Look out for parts two and three which include a monster MAW throw down.
