Gessler, a real meaniepants, had a strange idea to boost his ego. He commanded a hole to be dug in the marketplace, a tall pole erected, and his fancy hat placed on top. To show loyalty, everyone had to bow to his hat. \\U0001f3a9\\U0001f447 But one brave soul, William Tell, refused to bow! \\U0001f624

An angry Gessler set a wicked challenge for William. His son was placed in the marketplace, an apple on his head, and William had to shoot it with one arrow to save them both. \\U0001f631\\U0001f34e A gasp swept through the crowd! Could William's incredible marksmanship save the day, or would Gessler's mean plan succeed?
