Cary received his Master\\u2019s degree from Columbia University, focusing on organizational systems: Leadership, Policy and Politics. Prior to his graduate work, Cary was program director for the International Bill of Rights Project, and served as a delegate with consultative advising status to the United Nations at the Geneva Convention in Switzerland. He received his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara.'
