Stonefeather booked a show with Kula and Zach decided not to play the gig. Dave asked Kula\'s bassist, Eric Fortier to play with the band for the gig. In a few days and one rehearsal, Eric had learned a show\'s worth of material and they played a successful gig together. After that night, the current incarnation of the band came into being - Ian McCulloch on guitar and vocals, Dave Rundell on drums and Eric Fortier on bass.

Stonefeather recorded and released 3 singles in 2013-2014 and recorded a new EP, which will be released in August of 2014. Stonefeather is currently planning a tour to support the new EP, tentatively titled "Motion of the Ocean."'
