Dr. Kelce Wilson Biography
Dr. Kelce Wilson is the first inventor and original patent holder of the blockchain technology. He is also the inventor of 41 patented inventions and several more inventions that are patent pending, including some under secrecy order by the U.S. Government.\\xa0

Wilson holds five degrees, including two doctorates and two masters, in a wide range of fields which has contributed to his cross disciplinary vision in his patents. The following are his degrees:

After Wilson earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1998, he began serving active duty in the U.S. Air force. He retired from the military in 2010 as a Lt. Colonel after spending 13 years on active duty and 8 in the Reserves. While in the military, he worked as a Senior Stealth Engineer for the Aeronautical Systems Center and also as a Lead Researcher for the Air Force Research Lab. While working for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), he worked on cybersecurity, synthetic aperture radar, radar jamming, automatic target recognition, stealth aircraft technology, cryptography and satellite control. In addition, at the Space and Missile Systems Center for the Air Force, he performed penetration testing (\\u201cwhite hat hacking\\u201d) of proposed defensive measures.

Wilson\\u2019s later went on to work for BlackBerry (formerly Research in Motion) as their Senior Technical Director of Litigation. In this role, he led a team of lawyers to conduct face-to-face negotiations for multi-hundred-million-dollar patent licensing agreements. He also managed a team of attorneys defending against patent lawsuits (US and foreign litigation), including nuisance cases, investor-funded NPE assertions, and large competitor lawsuits presenting hundreds of millions of dollars in risk.

Dr. Wilson has taught and created graduate level academic course materials for both cybersecurity and radar system courses. He has developed test plans for testing (hacking) teams and has created the initial evaluation framework for the DoD\\u2019s primary software security testing organization.
