H\xe9ctor Lu\xeds Camacho Mat\xedas\xa0(May 24, 1962 \u2013 November 24, 2012), commonly known by his nickname "Macho"\xa0Camacho, was a Puerto Rican\xa0professional boxer\xa0and entertainer. Known for his quickness in the ring and flamboyant style,[Camacho competed professionally from 1980 to 2010\nOn Nov. 20, 2012, Macho and a childhood friend were shot while sitting in a car outside a strip mall in Bayam\xf3n. Authorities reportedly found nine bags of cocaine in the vehicle. The friend died immediately, while Macho \u2014 with a bullet lodged in his shoulder and restricting blood flow to his brain \u2014 was rushed to a hospital.
