Episode 72 Filipino Folklore

Published: June 8, 2020, 6 a.m.

b'If the title didn’t give it away, this episode is about folklore from the Philippines. First, Cody talks about Mount Banahaw, a holy mountain where paranormal occurrences are plentiful, including a cave where you’re judged for your sins. Then, Chris tells us about a multo (Filipino ghost) known as the White Lady of Balete Drive, who doesn’t have a face and talks directly to your mind. Next, Cody discusses another mountain, Mount San Cristobal, which is the horribly evil version of Banahaw. Finally, Chris shares a crazy creature, the Manananggal, that can detach itself at the torso and eat you up. Creep of the Week brings us another amazing theatre ghost story. This week’s munchies are Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Oishi Ube Pillows, and Crema de Mangga.
