"Ana Goñi-Lessan is a member of the Houston Chronicle’s editorial board. She recently visited the neighborhood of Third Ward there in Houston where George Floyd grew up and spoke with some of his childhood friends. She tells us about that and the reaction of the neighborhood and the city more generally to Floyd’s murder and the resulting protests and police violence. Also, Charles Hinshaw and J.
