ISAIAH 29
\n13 The Lord says:
\n\u201cThese people come near to me with their mouth
\nand honor me with their lips,
\nbut their hearts are far from me.
\nTheir worship of me
\nis based on merely human rules
\nthey have been taught.
\n14Therefore once more I will astound these people
\nwith wonder upon wonder;
\nthe wisdom of the wise will perish,
\nthe intelligence of the
\nintelligent will vanish.\u201d
\n15 Woe to those who go to great depths
\nto hide their plans from the\xa0Lord,
\nwho do their work in darkness and think,
\n\u201cWho sees us? Who will know?\u201d
\n16 You turn things upside down,
\nas if the potter were thought to
\nbe like the clay!
\nShall what is formed say to the
\none who formed it,
\n\u201cYou did not make me\u201d?
\nCan the pot say to the potter,
\n\u201cYou know nothing\u201d?
