In the prologue to Woodward\u2019s book, obtained by The Atlantic, the economic adviser Gary Cohn conspires to swipe a letter from the president\u2019s desk terminating the United States\u2013Korea Free Trade Agreement. Cohn considered it a danger to national security, so he grabbed it.\u201cI stole it off his desk,\u201d Cohn told an associate, according to Woodward. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t let him see it.
