There are rumors Ohtani\u2019s people planted the story with Morosi to get more money from the Dodgers. The Dodgers are deferring some of the money to benefit them and to benefit Ohtani\u2019s tax situation. Gio thinks the Dodgers got played, that there wasn\u2019t another team willing to offer him anywhere near that money.
