On episode 16 of the Bois & Bar Talk podcast we feature Hard Kombucha (Ancient Berry flavor) by Flying Embers out of Ventura, California.

The Drink of the Week: Hard Kombucha (Ancient Berry)

On the official website for Flying Embers they describe this flavor as "bright and fruity" while "starring a blend of Elderberries, Goji Berries, and Raspberries". Hard Kombucha is light and pleasant with a 4.5% ABV, only 85 calories, and not to mention, it\'s both vegan and USDA organic.

What makes Flying Embers unique is the deep story told on the can. The origin of the name comes from a Californian wildfire that threatened their home and lab. The makers of this drink combatted the wildfire for days and thus "Flying Embers" was born. They emphasized gratitude from that point on and incorporate it in all of their products today.

It was pretty cool stuff to read right from the can and thought we would share!

We actually had a main topic on this episode, but before we got to that, we talked about Rob tweeting for the first time in 7 years, and our ice cream preferences.

After that, we shifted to the main topic common myths and read about why they are false. We were reading from this list here.

One myth says you are not supposed to wake somebody that is sleepwalking. Apparently, that\'s not true and if you do wake them, the sleep walker will only be confused. Our own sleep walking stories followed upon reading this one.

The myths listed were pretty random, much like our show. We found ones like whether there are actually different parts of your tongue that sections your taste, whether bulls can actually see the color red, and the short three second memory of a goldfish.

We learned some pretty cool stuff and hope you enjoy our conversation. If you liked this episode check out our previous one and don\'t forget to subscribe!

As always, cheers from the Bois!
