Coach Mike Muse shares his coaching journey from growing up in Winston Salem to coaching at App State, returning to coach high school hoops in his hometown before and after his time coaching at Wake Forest.\nThe Muse family is synonymous with coaching high school basketball in the state of North Carolina, Mike Muse talks about his coaching influences, having success coaching multiple sports at the high school level, and how he landed on the late Skip Prosser's coaching staff at Wake Forest.\nHe opens up about the day Coach Prosser passed away and the lasting impact that Coach Prosser had on him. Dino Gaudio retained him and bumped him up to an Assistant Coach at Wake Forest, Muse shares what it was like to be an Assistant Coach in the ACC and his tough decision to return to the high school ranks.\nAfter retiring from teaching and coaching at the high school level, he returned to Wake Forest as the Director of Basketball Alumni Relations.
