Interview w/ Justin Bauman (Longtime D1 Assistant Coach and DOBO)

Coach Justin Bauman shares his journey from growing up in Canton, IL to being in college basketball coaching for 16 years! He started off being a scholarship player at Lincoln College (NJCAA) and being named an All Academic Region XXIII before transferring to Kansas to be a Student Manager. Justin was a Student Manager under both Roy Williams and Bill Self and eventually became a Graduate Assistant at Kansas. After Kansas Coach Bauman spent two years on Rex Walters' staff at Florida Atlantic as his Director of Basketball Operations before joining him when he took the San Francisco job. During his four years on staff at San Francisco, he was the Director of Basketball Operations for two seasons before being promoted to an Assistant Coach during his third and fourth season at USF. Coach Bauman joined Danny Manning's staff as Director of Basketball Operations at Tulsa where they had two postseason tournament appearances - including a bid to the NCAA Tournament! From Tulsa he went with Coach Manning to Wake Forest and spent six years on staff including a stint as Interim Assistant Coach. You'd be hard pressed to find a harder working coach than JB!
