Joe Cristy shares his journey from growing up in Baltimore to becoming the new Public Address Announcer for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.\nHe played baseball at High Point and was a member of the Panthers during their transition from NAIA to D2, and ultimately to D1. He began working High Point\u2019s women\u2019s basketball games, and quickly became the voice of the High Point Panthers athletics. Joe worked for nearly twenty years as the PA Announcer for High Point as well as working such events as the the 2019 NCAA Men's Soccer College Cup, the 2022 ACC Men's & Women's Soccer Championships, the 2023 New York Life ACC Men's Basketball Tournament, and many more tournaments.\nRecently he was named Public Address Announcer for Wake Forest University Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Volleyball.\n\n\n--- \n\nSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/beyondtheboxscore/support
