Coach Evan Lavery shares his journey from playing JUCO and eventually becoming the Head Coach at a JUCO, and now serving as an Assistant Coach at Emporia State.
\nHe helped build Rock Valley College (NJCAA DIII) into a national powerhouse that won multiple NJCAA National Tournament Championships. After Craig Doty accepted the Head Coach position at Graceland, Coach Lavery took over and had a successful run in his own right. Coach Doty offered him a job on his staff at Emporia State and he's been on staff the past three seasons as an Assistant Coach.
