Coach Darris Nichols shares his journey from growing up in Radford Virginia to playing for both John Beilein and Bob Huggins at West Virginia then becoming a NCAA DI coach.
\nHis first two seasons West Virginia reached the Elite Eight and then the Sweet Sixteen, Coach Beilein left WVU after his junior campaign and Coach Bob Huggins was hired. Shortly after his professional playing career ended, Darris returned to Morgantown to beging his coaching career.
\nAfter finishing his GA program at WVU he moved onto Northern Kentucky where he spent a couple seasons before joining Coach Mike Young's staff at Wofford. Coach Mike White hired Darris at Louisiana Tech and Coach Nichols spent the season there before going with Coach White to the University of Florida.
