Coach Brian Hoberecht shares his coaching journey from growing up in Oklahoma to becoming the Head Coach at Kilgore College (NJCAA D1).\nBrian is in his 21st year as a Head Coach as at the college level. He began his coaching journey as a Graduate Assistant at Emporia State where he then spent four seasons before accepting the same position at Dodge City Community College in 1997. Coach Hoebrecht became the Dodge City CC Head Coach in 2000 and even coached some minor league basketball in the offseason. He remained in Kansas until 2008 when he was hired at Kilgore College, he's taken Kilgore to new heights, in 2012-13 he was named Region XIV Coach of the Year after leading KC to a 27-6 record, finished 15th in the nation. His teams are routinely ranked nationally and in 2013-14 his team finished with the #2 ranking in NJCAA D1.\nHis former players have not only had success at the four year level, but he's coached over 100 professional basketball players.
