\\nMr. Jondy M. Arpilleda, a poet and storyteller, was born in Madrid, Surigao del Sur. His book Mga Hagawhaw sa Kagabhion and other stories came out in 2019 and his poetry collection Mga Tinaginting sa Hangin co-authored by two notable Cebuano poets was published in 2014. Some of his works were also featured in some magazines and books namely: Bisaya, Liwayway, Sunstar Daily Davao, Paper Monster, Graphic magazine, Libulan, Davao Harvest 3, and Mindanao Harvest 4. Mr. Arpilleda has also received numerous distinctions and awards including the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature; Jimmy Balacuit\\u2019s Best in Fiction Awards; and, Filipinas Institute of Translation\\u2019s Dalit Poem-Making Contest.
