Every episode, there will be a theme that will navigate within the poem of the day. For this episode, we have Gratian Paul Tidor's "Ang Balaang Tambag sa Ermitanyo." This poem won first prize in BATHALAD-Mindanao's Tigi sa Sinulatay (Poetry Category) in 2018.
Gratian Paul Tidor is a poet from Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. He was a fellow to the 17th Iligan National Writers Workshop and 12th IYAS Writers Workshop. His poems have appeared in Bisaya Magasin, Dagmay, Kabisdak and other online and print publications and anthologies. Gratian has published one full poetry book (Dakop-dakop sa Kahayag ug Anino), one poetry translation collection (Muddas: Hubad sa Mga Balak ni Anthony L. Tan), and two poetry chapbooks (Tipak sa Bulan and Nebula). He has also released a poetry anthology (Mga Tinaginting sa Hangin) with two other Mindanaoan poets.
