\nToday\u2019s Jargon of the Day: ABA, which stands for Applied Behavior Analysis.\xa0 ABA is a science of behavior.\xa0 It is not new and it is not something designed to specifically treat Autism.\xa0 ABA is a proven method of teaching that increases desirable behavior and decreases undesirable behavior. Quality ABA has been found to be extremely effective in treating Autism Spectrum Disorder, in fact it has been considered the Gold Standard of Treatment for Autism for more than a decade.
