The ill advised move by the Labour Government to lift the ban on alcohol in aboriginal communites should never have been lifted, just what exactly was the government thinking? Of course, they saw it as discriminating against the aborigines and all it achieved was absolute chaos and no doubt an increase in domestic, alchol driven violence against family members.
