The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is facing serious allegations, as US prosecution evidence suggests that its agents were involved in exporting cocaine from Colombia in 2017. In a letter to a New York judge, US Attorney Damian Williams accused the DEA of conspiring to traffic tons of cocaine, with evidence indicating that the DEA coordinated the export of the drug from Colombia's Prosecutor General's Office in a "controlled delivery." The trial against former guerrilla leader Jesus Santrich in 2018 involved charges allegedly fabricated by DEA agent Jason Richman, who testified under oath that the charges were the result of a drug trafficking investigation in Colombia. DEA agent Brian Witek also testified under oath that he coordinated the conspiracy to support these fabricated charges.

Chile's Mito Pereira and Colombian Sebastian Munoz are set to join the LIV Golf tour. Pereira, who missed a chance to become the first Chilean to win a major at the 2021 PGA Championship, and Munoz will join Torque GC's team, which includes captain (hoar are kin Joaquin Niemann and Spaniard David Puig. The duo will make their debut in Mexico next week for the first event of the tour's 14-tournament schedule. The Saudi-backed LIV Golf aims to lure the game's top players away from the traditional tours and features a shot clock and other innovations to make the game more accessible to younger fans.
