Answer: \\xa0Epsom salts have been a home remedy for centuries. \\xa0Chemically it is a mix magnesium and sulfates and named after Epsom in \\xa0England where it was first made by boiling \\xa0down mineral water. My family were also big fans of epison salts for sore feet and splinter \\xa0removal. \\xa0But \\xa0despite centuries of use, \\xa0finding published studies on the benefits of epison\\xa0 salts proved incredibly difficult. \\xa0There is practically no evidence that soaking in epison salted water has \\xa0a beneficial effect on the body. \\xa0 However \\xa0centuries of aches and pains have led to three theories on why it works:
