173. Exhibitions and Artist Residencies with Suzanne Redmond
This week’s episode features Florida based artist and podcaster Suzanne Redmond. About a month ago or so Suzanne interviewed me on her podcast The Left Brained Artist and today we flipped the script to get to know her a bit more. She used to be a curator so I took this interview as a chance to dig in on her knowledge about artist statements, CVs, exhibition applications, and even artist residencies. She just completed an artist residency down in Hollywood, Florida, so we talked about how she is finding these opportunities and successfully applying for them, so you can take a tip from her playbook and do that as well, if you want to.
