This week’s episode features Wisconsin muralist Sarah Pederson. Since this is Mural Month, I had to reach out to one of my favorite artists to follow on Facebook. Her murals pop up on my feed every week and every time I think, “Wow, she spent some time on that.” Sarah’s murals are so well thought out and so detail oriented and it really shows in the final product. In this interview we talk about her process and what goes on behind the scenes before she even starts painting. The details she puts in her customer to client interaction which flows into her painting process, is going to shock you. I know this because it shocked me. Sarah does all the little things from documenting her progress steps 1-100, to making sure every little detail of the painting is exactly how it’s supposed to be. If you’re someone who is detail oriented, this is an interview for you! Along with giving great insight, Sarah is also really encouraging to aspiring muralists and gives a lot of great tips on how to get started in this industry, so let me know what you think of this week’s episode with Sarah Pederson.
