109. Mural Joe
This week’s episode features the one, the only, the master of murals, Mural Joe. If you have ever searched for any "how to paint a mural" tips on YouTube, it is likely that this guy has popped up in your search. Joe has been at the mural game for 15 years and on YouTube creating videos for 10 years! I want to just state that right at the beginning because:
1. It shows how much experience he has with this artform which explains how good he is at his job.
2. I want to remind everyone that becoming a muralist isn’t something that happens overnight.
Joe has been working at this for a long time, and it shows! He is a celebrity in the art world and I feel so grateful to him for taking the time out of his very busy work schedule to chat with us and share his knowledge about everything on this subject. We have a friend in common, past podcast interviewee, Rich Marks, and I remember Rich making the comment about how Joe is such a natural teacher. They would be working and Joe would stop and start explaining what he’s doing to like he does it every day, and he does!
