In this series we interview leading Architecture and Design experts who share their experience and how they connect between Design, Sustainability and Innovation.Today our guest is Maria Papafigou of OOAK an architecture practice based in Stockholm, Sweden and Athens, Greece.
\\nMaria Papafigou is an architect who for many years has shared her time between Athens and Stockholm where she until recently also taught architecture at the KTH. Maria studied architecture in Sweden, Spain and Greece. OOAK architects was founded in 2013 and is today run by Maria Papafigou and Johan Annerhed, who previously ran the Athens-based studio paan architects. Small in size, the office works with projects of different scales in a broad variety of environments around the globe, sensitively approaching each project in the context of its own conditions and needs. Maria was a speaker at ESO event in February 2020 in Athens, Greece organized by Vasilis.
