Today our guest is Lydia Xynogala an architect working between Athens, Zurich and New York.

\\n

Lydia Xynogala is a practicing architect and parallel to her professional practice, her research examines natures of care and the tactics or after- effects of materialities' production. Focusing on their fuzzy assemblages she bypasses traditional dichotomies of the built and the natural.

\\n

Her architecture work has been featured among other places at Storefront for Art and Architecture, AIA Center for Architecture, gta exhibitions ETH Zurich and the Benaki Museum Athens.

\\n

Lydia is a graduate of Princeton University, the Cooper Union and the Bartlett, UCL and is currently a doctoral fellow at the ETH, gta institute for the History and Theory of architecture where she writes on the construction of a culture of care centered around natural resources in 20th century Greece.

\\n

Lydia has taught at ETH Zurich, Columbia GSAPP, The Cooper Union, RPI and City College of New York. Lydia is part of the Kyklada Press team and a participant at Onassis AiR 2020-21.
