This week Eno and Big Al welcome back Adam Biggers of SB Nation and Bleacher Report for "Adam Rants." Adam's rant can be summed up in foru words -\xa0 "I'm ready for fooball!"\n\nIn the second half of the show, the Jerks talk Detroit Tigers, giving their taks on who is the Tigers' biggest surprise and disappointment to this point of the season and name the Tigers MVP of the first half. As for the All-Star Game, thee Jerks decry the gimmickry which has taken over what once was the only All-Star Game that mattered in pro sports.\n\nSpeaking of rants, the Jerks go on one when it comes to the Detroit Red Wings re-singing aging forward Dan Cleary for "loyalty" reasons, despite his decreasing production and taking a roster spot away from a younger, cheaper, and likely much better player.\n\nThe Jerks end the podcast discussing the reaction to Lebton James leaving Miami for Cleveland. Big Al this the media's fawning over the Sports Illustrated article announcing the move is ridiculous and James wants it both ways in saying he's coming home to save Cleveland but committing to only a one year contract with a player option on a second. Eno decries the delcline of journalistic practices over the James signing, especially in the case of Sports Illustrated, who acted as a James mouthpiece.\xa0\n\nThere's all that and more, including "Whose Birthday Is It?" and our "Jerk of the Week!"\n\nLong-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno(aka the man who knows a lot of things about a lot of things), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks! Eno and Big Al's podcast is released every Monday on the Sports Geeks Radio Network!
