Should Christians Engage in Politics?
On this episode Jacob Daniel, Harry Edwards and special guest Logan Zeppieri discuss the role Christians play in politics. We try to answer the question "Should Christians engage in politics and to what extent?" This topic was spurned by recent events surrounding the arrests made at a church in Moscow, ID for violating local mandates related to COVID restrictions. Some of the questions we delve into are:
\n\n1. What does the Bible say about politics? Is it a necessary evil? Or is there virtue found in politics?
\n\n2. Why has the topic of politics even become an issue for Christians today? In other cultures, say the Muslims, their faith and politics are viewed in the same way\u2014very little distinction between the two. Do we think there\u2019s any good in viewing politics similarly to how the Muslim view theirs?
