Kanda neighbourhood guide
This historic corner of northeast Tokyo was once described as a place for \u201cuniversities, bookshops and intellectuals\u201d. Academic institutions are still there \u2013 along with the Holy Resurrection Cathedral \u2013 but Kanda is also home to electronics district Akihabara, a huge shrine and dozens of Japanese curry restaurants too.
