In recent months, many people around the world have seen their cost of living increase.\nBasics such as food, fuel and electricity are costing more than they used to in many countries. \nRecent research has tried to pinpoint the most expensive cities on the continent, by looking at the cost of these goods.\nThe data suggests that life in cities like Dakar, Addis Ababa and Abidjan is nearly as expensive as some cities in Europe.\nBut people are often earning much less in these African cities. \nSo, at a time when many people are having to tighten their belts, what\u2019s life like in Africa\u2019s most expensive cities?
