For a long time, African literature didn\u2019t get the recognition it deserved \u2013 certainly in the west. But walk into any bookshop nowadays and the shelves are piled high with African authors. More and more are winning international book awards, including Chigozie Obioma and Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi \u2013 who we hear from in today\u2019s episode. So, what\u2019s prompted this change?
