How hard is it for single mothers in business?
Maryben Omollo is the CEO Greenseal Limited, a cleaning and pest control startup in Kenya. \n \nBut it\u2019s a business with a difference\u2026 only employing and supporting single parents.\n \nMaryben faced harassment and struggled to find work after she got pregnant and the father left her. She faced depression and even attempted suicide.\n \nBut her mental health has improved and she\u2019s now set up her business and is helping others in a similar situation. \n \nShe\u2019s now been named one of Africa\u2019s top 40 under 40 entrepreneurs, an award she dedicates to single mothers and people with mental health disorders: \u201cFor me this is a dedication to everyone out there who feels they can\u2019t make it.\u201d\n \n#AfricaDaily\n \nPresenter: Alan Kasujja (@Kasujja)
