Journalists in Somalia work in a tough environment.\nThe country has suffered from decades of conflict and political upheaval. Journalists often risk their lives to tell these stories.\nBut women in the media face additional barriers, put in place by people who don\u2019t think they should be working at all. \nBilan Media \u2013 an all-female journalism operation \u2013 is hoping to change all that.\nThey are disrupting the male dominated industry and believe they are able to tell a better range of stories from all parts of society.
